DESCRIPTION

A perky South Africa restaurant, fish market, Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar with décor that highlights the Cape Town landscape using stainless steel fittings and photographs from a bygone era. The menu combines Japanese and South African dishes and ranges from fresh oysters to fish & chips to seafood curry and salmon teriyaki. The seafood platters are recommended as you get to choose your own ingredients straight from the ice. There are also meat, poultry and vegetarian dishes for those who prefer land-based food stuffs.

The Sushi Bar utilises the classic, colour coded, conveyor-belt method to feed its guests California rolls, sashimi, fashion sandwiches and other tempting portions.

The menu includes Teppanyaki and Tempura dishes, and there are communal “hibachi” tables provided for those sitting around the table top iron grill, giving you a great vantage point from which to watch the chef prepare your meal.

Downstairs caters for corporate or private functions, seating up to 90, and a 22-seater Teppanyaki table, where your own Teppanyaki chef adds extra entertainment value to any function.

The combination of fish market and restaurant means customers have the option to order a variety of seafood from the fresh fish market with its display of live lobster, prawns, oysters, mussels and fresh fish to be specially prepared for you in preferred proportions or to utilise the “take-home” option for those who wish to have a BBQ at home or simply cook up using grandma’s secret recipe.
