In the 1920’s, the good folk of Shoreditch shopped here for toasters, hoovers and the lastest brand of gramaphone. Now Darts, Billiards, pie and mash and a vast selection of fine ales & draught beers fill the 400 capacity pub. Downstairs the showrooms hosts an array of nightly entertainment. (Updated 26/07/2008)

With no less than ten draught beers including Erdinger Weissbier, Paulaner Lager, Bombardier and Timothy Taylor Landlord, there’s more than enough of a selection to wet your whistle.
“The music, the decor, the style, the crowd - it's all top notch. Had a great time on Saturday. The only downfall - the price of drinks is quite steep. Over £4 for a pint. Plus most of the pumps were out. On a Saturday night?! How can this happen?! Still though, LOADS of hot girls. My mates and I didn't mind paying over the odds for drinks with that much beauty around us.”

“I was purely passing by on the 135 Bus which zooms just past and I was VERY impressed with what I saw - a funky groovy electrifying atmosphere and environment busy with beautiful people outside and in and uptempo funky house from what I heard as my bus stopped close to the Hoxton Street. I will be going to Electricity Showrooms this Saturday evening for Dinner and Drinks and might find me a Toaster for the night in these here credit crunch 1929 times! I'm looking so forward to it and excited. Jason”
